The Jackson State University Concert Chorale, conducted by Willenham Cortez Castilla, represented JSU’s College of Liberal Arts and Department of Music & Choral Activities in the Vienna International Advent Sing Festival in Vienna, Austria, Dec. 18-23, 2013.
Choirs from all over the world attended the three-week celebration of music. JSU was one of two groups invited to come from the United States. The festival was held at the world-famous benedictine monastery, Melk Abbey.
