In a letter dated Aug. 4, 2015, the Southern Association of Colleges and School Commission on Colleges confirmed that Jackson State University continues to be fully accredited.
Jackson State University President Carolyn W. Meyers shared the good news at the 2015 Fall Faculty and Staff Seminar on Aug. 13 as a part of her “State of the University” address.
Currently, Jackson State offers 43 bachelor’s degrees, 36 master’s degrees, three specialist-in-education degrees, and 11 doctoral degrees.
