IMG_5200(JACKSON, Miss.) – The Jackson State University Alumni Players Association and the Department of Alumni and Constituency Services hosted a breakfast themed “Eating with the Enemy?”  Saturday, Nov. 16.

The event was a tribute to Cardell Jones and Houston Markham, roommates and teammates as undergraduates at Alcorn A&M College – now Alcorn University – and longtime assistant coaches at Jackson State University.

Jones left Jackson State to become head coach at his alma mater, where he helped develop the late NFL quarterback Steve McNair. Jones also served as Alcorn’s director of athletics.
