Dear JSU Family,
I’d like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all of the fathers in our Jackson State University community! Today, we salute you for your leadership as a mentor and role model. Whether your title is father, dad, daddy, pops, or papa, thank you for your strength, support and resiliency to uplift and raise your children.
At Jackson State, we are honored to have several father figures who interact with our students daily to provide guidance and take on the role of “bonus dad” in our village. Thank you for the listening ear, sound advice and generous spirit you bring to work daily. Your words of encouragement have left an indelible mark on our students that will remain with them long after their time at Jackson Dear comes to a close.
Lastly, to the fathers in our JSU alumni family: Thank you so much for your generous financial support of Jackson State throughout the years. I appreciate your commitment to our mission of challenging minds and changing lives. Your philanthropy and service to Thee I Love continues to help us make ends meet in the lives of our deserving students.
