Author, Wall Street media company CEO to speak at Science and Engineering Fair

(JACKSON, Miss.) – Kolie Crutcher, an award-winning author and the founder/CEO of the Wall Street media company, GET MONEY, Inc., will give an address during the annual Mississippi Region II Science and Engineering Fair scheduled for next week.

The fair will assemble close to 1,500 students from 250 public and private schools in Claiborne, Copiah, Hinds, Jefferson, Madison, Rankin and Warren counties. Students from grades 1-12 will present projects in the areas of science, mathematics and technology.

The lower fair for grades 1-6 will be held on Thursday, March 21. The upper fair for grades 7-12 will be held on Friday, March 22.  The two-day fair will take place in the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center at Jackson State University, 1400 John R. Lynch St. in Jackson, Miss.

First, second and third place winners from grades 7-12 will advance to the Mississippi Science and Engineering Fair on March 26, also at Jackson State University.

Crutcher will address the upper fair participants during the special awards judging.

Crutcher’s published self-help book, ELECTRIC LIVING–The Science Behind the Law of Attraction, details why human beings become what they think about. Crutcher’s book,  ELECTRIC LIVING–The Science Behind the Law of Attraction, was honored as the best “how-to” book in the 2013 Great Southeast Book Festival. Crutcher and his book were also awarded in the categories of “Business: Motivational”, “Self-Help: Motivational”, and “Best New Self-Help Book” by USA Book News in 2012.

Crutcher is an alumnus of Mississippi State University, and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, with a minor in mathematics. He has also earned a degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
