Students from public and private schools in Claiborne, Copiah, Hinds, Jefferson, Madison, Rankin and Warren counties will participate in the two-day fair.

This year will feature more than 1,000 registered projects, which will require 200 judges to review each project twice. Students will present in the areas of science, mathematics and technology.

“Currently, we have 129 judges registered; however, there is an approximate need for 71 more to meet our goal of 200,” said Joe L. Whitfield, director of MSEF-Region II.

The fair will be March 23 for Grades 1-6, and March 24 for Grades 7-12. Setup begins at 7 a.m. each day.
