Jackson State University will participate in the C-SPAN bus HBCU tour when the vehicle parks on campus March 1.
This will be JSU’s second-consecutive year as part of this event.
The C-SPAN bus is an interactive, multimedia learning center. It brings C-SPAN’s coverage of public affairs to communities, teachers and students throughout the nation.
Once aboard the C-SPAN bus, students are encouraged to learn through interactive exhibits that teach them about C-SPAN’s programs and resources. The educational experience includes thorough coverage of the U.S. Congress, White House, federal courts and the American political process.
C-SPAN encourages JSU students majoring in political science, communications, journalism, education and public policy to visit the C-SPAN bus. Students who are part of JSU’s Student Government Association are also encouraged to stop by and climb aboard.
