High schools of graduating seniors clawing for 1st place in JSU enrollment challenge

Jackson State University’s undergraduate recruitment staff is offering a special incentive to schools statewide for those with the highest percentage of prospective enrollees. Of each of the six division schools, one high school institution in each category will earn a picnic for its senior class. The winners will be announced on Friday, April 10.

With assistance from high school counselors, the application process requires only three easy steps. To qualify for the prize, all graduating seniors must submit the required information:

  • Submit an online application at www.jsums.edu by clicking the “Apply” link on the homepage.
  • Request that your high school send an official transcript to Undergraduate Admissions.
  • Request official ACT or SAT scores be sent to Undergraduate Admissions. JSU suggests that these scores come directly from ACT or SAT. JSU’s College Code for ACT is 2204, and the SAT College Code is 1341.

Schools in each division still have time to secure or overtake first place.
