The entire campus community is invited to formally recognize and celebrate the scholastic achievement of honor students at Jackson State University. Location: Student Center Ballroom
Honors College Student Lounge Grand Opening, 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25
A ribbon cutting will be held to commemorate the grand opening of the W.E. B. Du Bois Honors College Student Lounge in the library (2nd floor).
Honor Students Pounce on the Plaza, 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 26
Pedestrian Parkway. Honor College students will host high school students, gather to mingle and socialize.
W.E.B. Du Bois Honors College will host Jackson Public School District high school honor students. The students and chaperones are invited to participate in our Friday activities. During their visit to JSU the high school students will have a time period to “Meet the Dean” of their intended college major, participate in a brief tour of JSU and socialize with current Honors College members.
