The Jackson State University Department of Art will present the Foundation in Art: Theory and Education Regional Forum, Saturday, April 20, from 2-4 p.m. in Jackson State University’s Johnson Hall, room 120.
The forum offers a unique opportunity to share insight and knowledge gained from the FATE Conference held in Savannah, Ga., as well as exchange project ideas, grading rubrics and critique strategies.
This event is open to everyone: those who attended the conference and need to unpack what they experienced, as well as those who were unable to attend and would like to join in the conversation about foundations in art education. All participants are encouraged to bring practical tips, questions and resources to share with the group as they unpack ideas, discuss challenges and share solutions.
