Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our students, our programs and our university. Your commitment is what keeps our institution strong and does not go unnoticed. While you play an essential part in our success through your investment of time and talent, we also need your financial investment.
On September 30th, Jackson State University will kick off its Yearly Employee Support Campaign (Y.E.S). This campaign is important to the continued growth of our university and provides us an opportunity to invest in ourselves. Together, our contributions will make a significant impact in the visibility and effectiveness of our programs. I ask you to join me in making your own personal commitment to JSU through the Y.E.S Campaign. You can designate your gift to support the areas that you feel most passionate about.
There are numerous great investment opportunities for your consideration. The university has both unique and amazing programs that deserve our support. As a special request, please consider making a gift in support of the University’s Excellence Fund, which allows us to respond with flexibility to the university’s greatest needs. Last year’s Excellence Fund allowed us to finance more student scholarships and provide more program support.
While we are keenly aware of the difficulties that the weak economy has created for so many of our families, friends, neighbors and ourselves, we are fortunate that we are not among the unemployed. While things are improving, great needs still exist. It will take all of us pitching in to ensure the continued success of our students and our university.
