The Jackson State University National Alumni Association is hosting its Mid-Winter Alumni Council Meeting today through Saturday in Jackson.

Usually held the last weekend of February, Mid-Winter Council is one of two JSUNAA meetings per year (the other is Fall Council) where national, regional, local officers and members convene to discuss the business of the national alumni association.
Over a two-day period, reports from alumni officers and committee chairs will be offered; campus updates from University faculty, staff and students will be presented; and leadership training sessions on a variety of topics will be conducted.
As well, the weekend includes a fair amount of time for fellowship and fun, and alumni are invited to “courtside dining” at the JSU vs. MVSU basketball game Saturday night.
