The Jackson State University College of Education and Human Development’s Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, in partnership with the Childcare Directors Network Alliance, will present the 6th Annual Mississippi Early Childhood Alliance Conference.
The conference will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, on the third floor of the JSU Student Center.
“Putting the Puzzle Together: Pieces to Early Childhood Education” is the theme for this year’s conference. Conference strands will include sessions on assessment, community partnership, curriculum and instruction, family services, health and wellness, parental involvement and technology.
Advance registration is $25; on-site registration is $30. Student registration is $25 with identification and completed form. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be offered for an additional $20. Payment may be made with cash or money orders only.
