Regular JSU listeners of the Tom Joyner Morning Show have a big treat this week as the broadcaster talks live from the WJSU studios.
WJSU General Manager Gina P. Carter-Simmers will be interviewing him Thursday at 9:30 a.m., and he will be broadcasting his show from WJSU the remainder of the week.
The Tom Joyner Morning Show discusses the latest news and sports of the day, playing popular R&B songs from the 1970s through the 1990s and contemporary R&B hits.
Jackson State is no stranger to Joyner, his show or his foundation.
JSU was featured in February with the Tom Joyner Foundation as part of its historically black colleges and universities (HBCU) school of the month program.
Though JSU was designated for donations on his radio show during that one month, donations are still being accepted.
