National Social Work Month is being celebrated across the country in March and it coincides with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) celebrating its 60th anniversary.
The goal of the month is to educate the public about how social workers have brought major positive social changes, improved the lives of individuals and families, and will continue to do so in the future.
The theme was selected to highlight what NASW and social workers have accomplished over the past half-century and more.
