Jackson State assistant professor of Social Work, Dr. Jaegoo Lee is the recipient of the Junior Career Achievement Award from the Korean American Social Work Educators Association. KASWEA is an affiliated group of Council on Social Work Education.

“It is an honor for me to receive this award because I know that it was very competitive this year,” says Lee.

The Council on Social Work Education is the national association representing social work education in the United States. It’s members include over 800 accredited baccalaureate and master’s degree social work programs, as well as individual social work educators, practitioners, and agencies dedicated to advancing quality social work.

“This is a great award highlighting my teaching, research and service at JSU,” says Lee.

Lee was recognized for the award at the annual program meeting.
