(JACKSON, Miss.) – Yohance Myles, a theatre and film professor at Jackson State University, recently completed a two-week film shoot with Denzel Washington on the film, 2 Guns, which is slated to be released in 2013. Myles plays an FBI agent. The movie, which also stars Mark Wahlberg and Paula Patton, is about a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who are investigating one another until they find out it’s been a set up by the mob.
Myles’ last film project, Fire with Fire starring Josh Duhamel, Bruce Willis, Rosario Dawson and 50 Cent, is scheduled to hit movie theaters on Aug. 31. The movie is about a fireman who takes an unexpected course of action when he’s threatened by a man who he’s been ordered to testify against.
Myles also co-stars as the character “Clyde” in the hit TV comedy-drama series Common Law starring Micheal Ealy on the USA cable network. Other recent film projects to be released in theaters in 2013 include: The Host, Hours and The End of the World.
“I would like to once again thank Jackson State University for its continued support in shaping and cultivating the artistic expression of theater and film,” Myles said.
