Therriault led the Lions to a 24-17 victory over the Dresden Monarchs. Coming into the game the Monarchs had a 5-0 record and New Yorker had a 4-0 record, but the Lions won the game of un-beatens. Therriault made his first start with the Lions en route to the win.
Therriault scored his first touchdown with the Lions at the 10:46 mark in the second quarter on a 28-yard run. He threw his first touchdown with New Yorker at the 2:42 mark in the second when he connected with C. Bollman for a five-yard score. For the game he rushed for 100-yards and a touchdown and passed for 208 yards and a touchdown. He completed 16 of 24 pass attempts and had an interception.
