The event was held in the parking lot of the College of Education building on Jackson State University’s campus. The family-friendly event gave children an opportunity to trick or treat safely in festively decorated vehicle trunks, while also enjoying the costumes of Student Ambassadors.

Kids Kollege director Tierra Strong said this was the first “Trunk or Treat” activity that her program has participated in. Strong also made it apparent how happy she was to work with the ambassadors to be able to treat the children to a unique Halloween.

Leontyne Snell, project coordinator for Kids Kollege, was also in attendance to assist. Snell expressed her appreciation to Student Ambassadors.

Children thoroughly enjoyed the concept, as well as the costumes of the ambassadors: Faith Donaldson, Kesicia Dickinson, Courtney Body and Jasmine Jenkins.
