Innovation in education and cyberlearning was the topic Monday during Innovation Month at Jackson State University.

Tuesday, the topic is jazz!

On Monday, Melanie Wells of Richland High School spoke about teaching strategies in mastering Common Core subjects using technology.

Also on the program was JSU Systems Integration Analyst Kedra Taylor and Director of Academic Internet Technology Emily A. Miller-Bishop. They spoke on JSU’s cyberlearning initiatives, on academic Internet technology and JSU’s iPad initiative.

Presiding were Dr. Deidre Wheaton, coordinator of social and cultural studies, and Almesha Campbell, intellectual property manager.

 

Associate Vice President for Research Administration Tracy Stapleton was recognized for her work.
