
Jackson State’s freshman third baseman Jesus Santana has been named to the 2015 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team. The team, as selected by Collegiate Baseball newspaper, features a wealth of baseball talent.
Santana, who was the Southwestern Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-SWAC selection, finished the 2015 season with a .283 batting average with 51 hits, 12 doubles, and two triples.
The Cagus, Puerto Rico, native led the SWAC with 12 home runs and was ranked sixth in the SWAC in RBIs with 48 and seventh in total bases with 103.
