Jackson State University entrepreneurship major Jevon Grant recently completed training to join University Innovation Fellows, a national program that empowers student leaders to bring more entrepreneurial activity to their campuses.
Grant joins a national network of 110 total University Innovation Fellows from 78 schools across the country.
The program is operated by Epicenter, which is funded by the National Science Foundation and directed by Stanford University and the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance.
Grant is supported by faculty sponsor, Dr. William McHenry, to create new experiences for students at JSU. Grant also was among the student team that developed the business plan for the Apple Authorized Campus Store at JSU. You can find details about what activities Grant has planned here.
