Jackson State University Assistant Professor of Music Education David Akombo has been appointed to a three-year term to serve on the Review Board of the Journal of Research in Music Performance (JRMP). The JRMP is an international peer-reviewed journal that disseminates theoretical and empirical research on the performance of music in music education. Its purpose is to disseminate research on the nature of music performance from both theoretical and empirical perspectives in music education. Akombo will serve from 2012 to 2015.
