Jackson State University will host High School and Community College Day on Oct. 5 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to give students the opportunity to preview all that JSU has to offer.
Valuable information will be offered to students and their families from the JSU Enrollment Management Team, all academic colleges and the Division of Student Life. The program also will feature performances by the Sonic Boom of the South, and a “True Blue” Tiger Tailgate on the Gibbs-Green Pedestrian Plaza.
The day will conclude with a gridiron battle between the JSU Tigers and the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m.
