The Mississippi Political Science Association (MSPSA) is holding its annual conference at Jackson State University this month.
To be held Feb. 13-14, the conference is titled Politics & Policy: Evolving Practices & Societal Impacts, according to Association President Leniece Smith, a JSU assistant professor of Political Science.
The meetings will take place from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the College of Liberal Arts, Rooms 146, 166 and 428.
The conference, which is open to the public, will host 75-100 participants, Smith said. Students are invited.
“Panel presentations and two roundtables from a variety of theoretical and empirical perspectives on the theme” will be presented, she said.
Cost is $25 for faculty, $5 for students.
This is the first time the association has met at JSU, she said.
