The Rev. Jerry Young, president of the National Baptist Convention and pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Jackson, delivered the 2016 Fall Graduate Commencement address Friday in the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center. The keynote address was delivered to 197 graduates earning advanced degrees.
