Alumnus Sylvester Stephens to host book signing at JSU Bookstore

Book Signing (1 of 1)Award-winning Jackson State University alumnus author Sylvester Stephens will host a book signing from 2-4 pm, Friday, Oct. 18, at the JSU Bookstore.

Over the years, Sylvester has honed his craft one piece at a time, beginning with poetry, progressing to stage plays, novels and eventually, screenplays.

On Feb., 17, 2012, Sylvester received a honorary Georgian Award from the Georgia State Congress for his contribution for community awareness for his stage play, “Our Time Has Come.”
