HBCUgrow dedicates its efforts to assisting with challenges in the transformative landscape of website and marketing campaigns. The organization diligently works with an immense group of people devoted to improving the brand and increasing enrollment and alumni giving at HBCUs.
As a member of the 2018 HBCUgrow advisory board, Spencer McClenty, says, “As one of the top ranking schools in the country, it was exciting to share some of our strategies that have made our digital program so successful.
JSU won two gold awards for best leadership and military-friendly, and two silver awards for marketing and website magazine. The university also won a platinum award for innovation.
McClenty, who is also the associate director for the Department of Communications and Marketing, accepted each of the five awards on behalf of JSU.
“I also learned some best practices that other schools are utilizing in their digital media departments and I plan to incorporate them into our program.”
