JSU’s social media department is hosting the #GreeksAtPlay initiative in hopes of drawing a larger crowd at the 2014-2015 basketball games.

The initiative calls for all Greek fraternity and sorority organizations to adopt specified games throughout the season, according to Ashton Hall, JSU social media associate.

Specified organizations with their Greek paraphernalia will receive $1 concessions and an opportunity to stroll/hop at courtside during halftime. Students, alumni and community members are encouraged to participate.

The #GreeksAtPlay initiative includes an open free-throw contest during halftime of the men’s basketball game. The person who can make the most free-throws in 30 seconds will win a grand prize.

The contest is sponsored by Dallas Printing, A2Z Printing, and Quality Printing.
